Originally manufactured in 1922 by the Illinois Watch Company, the Springfield 462 features a pleasant dial design, bold type numbers, and a clear back that reveals the intricate nickel gears with bronze details. Our Machined Titanium case accentuates the riveting dial and has an incredibly durable and scratch-resistant coating. Looking at the back, we see “The Governor” engraved on the bridge plate — powered by 19 jewels. Lastly, our Black leather strap brings unity to this 406-grade timepiece, matching the black numbers on the dial. This extraordinary watch was originally produced in Springfield, Illinois, in 1922 — the same year that Charlie Robertson, in a game between the Chicago White Sox and the Detroit Tigers, pitched a perfect no-hit, no-run game.
